1. Who we are

This website, maychenstudio.com, is operated by May Chen, a photographer based in Tel Aviv, Israel ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at mayziestudio@gmil.com.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us when you book a call: your name, email address and any answers you add to the booking form. Bookings are handled by Calendly.
• Information you send us directly by WhatsApp, email or Instagram.
• Technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the ad or link that brought you here. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, and through our hosting provider's server logs.

We do not ask for sensitive information through this website.

3. How we use it

• To schedule and hold your intro call and to reply to your messages.
• To plan and provide the photography and video services you book.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram, and to show relevant ads to people who visited the site.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the website and our services:

• Calendly (booking and scheduling)
• Google (Google Meet video calls)
• Meta Platforms (advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel)
• Netlify (website hosting)

These providers may process data outside Israel, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies and safeguards. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and advertising

The website uses cookies, including Meta Pixel cookies for advertising measurement and Calendly cookies on the booking calendar. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the booking calendar works.

6. Photos and videos from your session

Photos and videos created during a session are not collected through this website. Their use and publication are governed by the agreement and consent form you sign before the shoot. Images in which you can be identified are published only with your explicit consent.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact information for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations, and then delete it.

8. Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you are entitled to see the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete it or object to its use for marketing. To make a request, email mayziestudio@gmil.com. If you are in the European Union, you also have your rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Age

This website and our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
